I'd like to know more about the three focusing systems.
I'm assuming one is for lens focus, then perhaps one is for back focus, then the third perhaps is the viewfinder???

No, it just offers three different focussing aids to suit different situations. Its got split-image, full screen microprism and ariel w/crosslines.
Why would there not be a backfocus adjustment?
What other lenses can be put on the camera?
As long as we're all drooling here's the one I crave:

I'm a Canon DS-8 user and I think Cranium has one too. I love the camera. That seller probably won't get any takers at $385. I got mine for $190 back in 1999.
Good luck Crimsonson...
I'm bumping this back to the top, less than 8 hours to bid as of this post.

Should we say cha ching, cha ching, Crimsonson!
That Leicina is now bidding for over 1100.00...isn't that a tad expensive? Maybe not, it has a nice lens on it. mike
I'm curious how many of these Leicina's were actually made, and how many are still in operation.
There must be some type of users group for these cameras.
thanx Alex
my price is actually cheap. If you do a search online you will see that most Leica dealers selling it for around $1000 - and that is just the body and the 6-66mm lens. Some are even as much as $1500.
there was seller just before my auction who sold the 2 lenses, body, and ST1 controller seperatelly and got $1300+!!! I have a Leica leather bag, Shoulder mount and an angle viewer for animation stands and my reserve was still lower.
Thank you for your interest Alex! Tell me how your 814 XL-S goes - I might still be interested.
